Fire Island Lighthouse – Dates: 00.01 UTC 15th August 2026 to 2400 16th August 2026 (48 hours)Aug 16, 1000Z-2030Z International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend. GSBARC will be operating two stations using all modes. The lighthouse number is US0019. It is also IOTA NA-026 and POTA park US-0679. Amateur Radio Technician License Class
Great South Bay Amateur Radio Club is holding license classes for
the Technician (entry level) license for the Amateur — aka ‘HAM’ —
radio license beginning Tuesday night June 3rd at 7 p.m.
Classes are held at Babylon Town Hall in the Emergency Operations
Center, which is located in the basement. Babylon Town Hall is located
at: 200 E. Sunrise Hwy. N. Lindenhurst NY.
