Amateur Radio Licenses.

Current class beginning Tuesday night May 5th at 7 p.m.

Classes are held at Babylon Town Hall in the Emergency Operations
Center, which is located in the basement. Babylon Town Hall is located
at: 200 E. Sunrise Hwy. N. Lindenhurst NY.

Access is gained via the door at the bottom of the stairs at the rear of
Town Hall and by pressing the top doorbell button to be let in.

Ham radio manual pictured is for the Technician class license. Each class license uses a different book. Please make sure you get the correct book for the class you will be attending. Tech, General, or Extra Class. The book can be purchased at the EOC or during you first class.

The textbook for class is the ARRL Ham Radio License Manual, Price: $32.95 online or discounted $30 if bought from us. We
currently have books in stock. Classes are scheduled as needed.

The instructor for the class is Kevin Morgan, AB2ZI and you can email
him at [email protected] to register for the class.

All classes are on an as needed basis. We usually require 3-5 students to run a class but will handle more as needed. So, it is beneficial if you reach out to others who may be interested in getting licensed or upgrading to help reach the minimum number of students.

Class availability and registration is handled by Kevin Morgan at above e-mail address. Or you can reach out to any of our board members during meetings or open house.

All classes are free and open to anyone interested in becoming licensed or upgrading.

Exam sessions are usually scheduled as part of the class and also monthly.
